Your Tripod Bracket will come prepared with a metal plate attached so that you can put your Tobii Eye Tracker directly on the mounting bracket.
The Tripod Bracket is compatible with all 1/4” threads. You can mount your bracket to any stand, tripod, monopod, etc., with a 1/4” thread. Start with attaching the mounting bracket to a 1/4” thread and tighten it. Make sure it is securely fastened to prevent any accidental detachment.
It’s important to note that different stands and tripods may have slightly different mounting mechanisms, so always refer to the specific instructions provided by the manufacturer when mounting your Tobii Tripod Bracket.
Tobii Eye Tracker includes sensors that can capture your eyes to track where one is looking. Your eyes must fit within a certain distance from the eye tracker, and at least one eye has to be within the trackable area at all times. The operating distance of a Tobii Eye Tracker is 50 — 95 cm (20 - 37").
The Tobii Display Setup Tool needed to calibrate the eye tracker with a custom placement of the mount has a limit of 200 cm from the screen to the Tobii Eye Tracker position.
Tobii Eye Tracker allows for extensive freedom of head movement. Once the eye tracker is properly calibrated and placed in front of you, no further adjustments are required if the eye tracker stays in the same position.
Your Tobii Eye Tracker needs to be level to work properly. You can adjust the pitch of the eye tracker but not tilt it left or right.
The "track box" is a normalized coordinate system for an imaginary "box" in space (in front of the Tobii Eye Tracker), where the edges of the "box" define the area where the Tobii Eye Tracker can theoretically track your eyes.
