Calling all DCS pilots!
Our Extended View feature allows you to immerse yourself in DCS World by using your head and eye movements to control the in-game camera. This enhances your spatial awareness and provides an advantage in aerial combat. Read more information here.
Configuring the best settings to achieve optimal performance and stability for DCS World, both within Game Hub and in-game, can be a bit challenging. Follow our settings guide below to set up your DCS World effectively.
Settings
DCS World does not have native support and then it is required to have the Tobii Game Hub software installed and configured.
See more information here: Native support vs. Tobii Game Hub
Eye tracking settings
Responsiveness
Adjust how fast the camera reacts to your eye movements.
Limits
Control how much your field of view will change with your gaze and at which angle the camera will slow to a complete stop.
(Pitch Mirror: When you activate this feature, adjusting the sliders will result in symmetrical angles both up and down. Turn off the Mirror, and you'll be able to independently select different pitch angles both upward and downward.)
Head tracking settings
Head rotation
Limit in Yaw/Pitch/Roll
Specifies the maximum value for the in-game camera. Can be used to reduce clipping if needed.
(Mirror: you can set different maximum values in the opposite direction with Mirror Off.)
Sensitivity
Adjust how sensitive the camera is to head movements. The setting value is a multiplier of your head movements.
(Mirror: You can adjust the sensitivity differently in the opposite direction with Mirror Off.)
Curve
Modifies how the camera moves in relation to head movement with Curve strength and Midpoint.
You can also control how much the in-game camera responds to your movements by defining a "dead zone" where it won't react.
Head position
Relative Head Position
Camera Position changes are relative to either the current camera orientation or the original camera orientation.
(Turn it On for the current camera orientation and Off for the original camera orientation.)
Head Position settings follow current camera orientation
The Head Position settings can use either the current camera orientation or the original camera orientation as the center.
(Turn it On for the current camera orientation and Off for the original camera orientation.)
Limit in X/Y/Z Axis
Specifies the maximum value for the in-game camera. Can be used to reduce clipping if needed.
(Mirror: you can set different maximum values in the opposite direction when it is Off.)
Sensitivity
Adjust how sensitive the camera is to head movements. The setting value is a multiplier of your head movements.
(Mirror: you can adjust the sensitivity differently in the opposite direction when it is Off.)
Curve
Modifies how the camera moves in relation to head movement with Curve strength and Midpoint.
You can also control how much the in-game camera responds to your movements by defining a "dead zone" where it won't react.
Camera boost
Camera boost can enhance your experience with our Extended View feature.
It is supported in Tobii Game Hub v3.2 or newer releases.
