It could be that one of the services for the tracker times out on boot or when your PC wakes up from sleep mode and then it can not start up properly on its own. It could also be due to the power settings for your USB controller.
We are continuously working on improving scenarios like the one mentioned above with time-outs on boot and coming out of sleep mode, but for now, try any of the workarounds suggested below. Even if they work or not, please let us know by contacting support.
Restart the Tobii Service
Go to Services - Tobii Service
Right-click on Tobii Service and press Restart
Add a delayed start to Tobii Service
Go to Services - Tobii - Properties
Then to Startup type - Automatic Delay - Recovery
Set the First failure to Restart the service
Change the power settings for your USB controller
It could be that your USB controller is cutting off power to the tracker. Try changing the power settings for it.
Go to Device Manager - USB controllers - click on the USB controller in use - Go to Power Management and make sure "Allow to turn off devices to save power" is not ticked.
