Flying in X-Plane is always fun and using Tobii Eye Tracker makes it even better.
If you run into issues while playing or setting up together with Tobii Game Hub, this guide will help you fix them quickly.
Game Setting Issue
Tracking Features Not Working
This is due to the installation failure of the plugin.
Try this to reinstall the plugin.
- Go to: \X-Plane 11(12)\Resources\plugins\TobiiPlugin\64

Check if there is a file called "win.xpl"
- If not, go back to: \X-Plane 11(12)\Resources\plugins\

Delete folder "Tobii Plugin"
- Restart Game Hub.

Click "Install Plugin" button again in X-Plane settings.
Missing Head Position Tracking
To ensure the accurate calculation of your initial head position, reset your head tracking. You can do this by assigning a key to "Reset head tracking key" under Control Features in Tobii Game Hub.
Unable to Track Game Window
If you encounter an error message like "Unable to track game window" in Game Hub, make sure that the plugin has been installed correctly.
Please check if your monitor settings are accurate. You can find instructions on How to change monitor type.
Also do remember to upgrade your graphic card driver.
Compatibility Issue
Conflict with Other File Paths
If you have installed both X-Plane 11 and 12 on the same computer, Game Hub may not recognize your game path correctly. Please close Game Hub first then follow the steps below to reset it
- Enter %localappdata%\TobiiGameHubData\Settings
- Delete all .json file.
- Search X-Plane in Game Hub
- Click Browse for file to link the game.
Conflict with Other Plugins
We have received some reports that Tobii plugin may conflict with other 3rd-party plugins, e.g. BetterPushback.
If you encounter conflicts, stop using them together.
