Head tracking is no longer working for those using Tobii Core – Tobii Help Center

Unfortunately head tracking is no longer functioning in any IS4 device using the Tobii Core app. Devices such as Tobii Eye Tracker 4C and integrations in for example Alienware 17 R4, Acer V Nitro and Predator monitors therefore no longer have functional head tracking when using the Tobii Core app.

Currently, only the Tobii Eye Tracker 4C has access to Tobii Experience [BETA].

For Tobii Eye Tracker 4C users only

There is a beta release for Tobii Experience so you can choose to install that to make head tracking work again. It will work even better than before as performance has been greatly improved. You can download the beta here.

Please be aware that the HID driver included with Tobii Core is not compatible with Tobii Experience. If you decide to update, Windows Eye Control, Touchpad features, and other features using the HID driver will no longer be supported.
